26 June 2009 :Time was 4:30 am when i just woke up, though there was no usual power cut but it was extremely hot i usually don’t get up this early but i had to since i needed to catch the bus to Delhi so as to reach New Delhi Station by 5 pm where i had to board AP Express. I was going to Hyderabad. Many friends have asked Why train..well simply because i love traveling…Why AC then ?..because i was with a friend and my friends unlike me can’t travel in Sleeper…then why bus to Delhi..well i would have loved to drive but its too long a journey by car..and no to train because i didn’t wanted to miss the next train. Well the journey to Delhi in bus was very adventurous and so was from Delhi to Hyderabad or say Secundrabad to be precise but i leave it for some other time right now its about Hyderabad and life here.
27 June 2009 : Time was around 7 pm when we touched the real roads of Hyderabad..with all it’s typical noises and hum..ahh!! this was exactly what we had expected..a crowdy, dirty, polluted and worst city ever seen..no the worst was yet to come..we had to reach TARA residency an apartment hotel, I already had the print out of road map with me and with the help of fully drunk Auto driver we were able to reach the place at arround 8 pm or so..now it happened..though the shock of jerks of worst leveled roads wasn’t over yet another electrified and much of more intensity thunderbolt was to hit me there…i had to share..my room..and bed..with someone..unknown…how can i do that ? i did..time makes you do everything..and yes i didnt liked it ..while others were enjoying. So if well begun is half done..what about ill begun i guess its fully done..
28 June 2009 : Was an unusual Sunday, it began with our journey to botanical garden and ended in between somewhere there only. We planned to see many things that come in the way to botanical garden, though the distance was hardly 1 km and there wasn’t much to watch or look for still we found many boring things like street lights, cars, shops, gym, and a pub on the way and just when it was starting to get interesting the boredom peaked- beacause we were told that there wasn’t any free entry to the park. The day was boring.
29 June 2009: Went to Novotel a 5 star hotel., again i want to clear that i still hate 5 star hotels and going there was no choice but forcibly mandatory on everyone. But Novotel was quite different..i liked people there all full of surprise and awe a type of beta surprise that happens when you get things you never ask for but always wanted like getting a Merc when you just off boarded a bus. Some interesting discussions took place on table no 2 as well but i just wanted to get transported to time when i can something real but i noticed few people and even wrote their names at places most un erasable so as not to forget them.
30 June 2009 : Was again at Novotel people were more than satisfied but a bit bored too. All wanted to feel the real thing which happened soon after and without any further fun.
Couldn’t make how time passed since then but now getting fully acquainted to the City, can easily say that traffic is hell out here, shared autos are devils way to frustrate you, city buses are as unclean as public places..but there is a silver lining- malls are good, restaurants are even better, people are cool and few places are just awesome. ..still to say a lot.to be continued….

l station…each morning my father showed me the snow covered peaks of Himalayas and told me that’s the place where “Badri Vishala” lives, though I couldn’t see his abode but what I saw was something big like a blue square which then became a symbol of “Badri Vishala” to for a quite long time…then we used to play with snow..and out of excitement, invention and discovery I would like to touch the solidified snow—ice..(THE FIRST TOUCH OF ICE).. but due to some fear and since they cared none would allow me to feel it longer..i heard people saying –“throw it, else it will burn your hands” and out of fear I used to throw it getting more confused –ice burns your hand and fire too ?..in evening they usually took me to shops and my mother would buy me a softy from “Sun and Snow” ..oh I still can recall the shape and probably the taste as well ..At that time I didn’t knew that “Sun and Snow” was a hotel what I understood was that Softy and “Sun and Snow” go together… years passed time changed we moved to plains of Uttranchal..and I lost both the softy as well as “Sun and Snow”..no softy no “Sun and Snow” and vice versa..but I was introduced to something similar..called ice-cream..but whenever I heard ice-cream my sub conscious mind always warned me- “ice don’t hold it burns your hands”…and it made me always uncomfortable with ice creams..so uncomfortable that I could hardly remember their flavors and names..time changed years passed… and when I was old enough to fool others once my friend told me how he eats for free a choco-bar everyday by fooling ice-cream parlor owner’s son, when I didn’t believed him he took two this time and gave me one..though I hesitated but this time it wasn’t ice there was cream with it…and the journey started…soon I tasted almost all the flavors that were famous among my friends..what I enjoyed most was “Limchu” an ice-lolly greenish yellow in color…another remarkable one was a candle shaped lolly called “Pepsi”…We also used to eat the solidified custard made by local vendors and served in wafer cones and often called softy..which I loathed since I knew the taste of actual softy, but it was a very economical and only substitute to Soft that was available and also worth buying for…though initially ice-creams were a fear for me.. I was sometime in between introduced to a similar thing which I loved called “Kulfi” with a variant called “Faluda Kulfi” when added with some boiled sewaiyaan..I still can feel the nice delicacies and super tastes the joy for which started from “Tolaram ki Kulfi”..continued to “Motimehal Special”..reached peaks at “Roshan Di Kulfi” and still the thrust is sustaining to enjoy more tastes…Being a late entrant in ice-cream world I always felt inferior when it came to buying ice-creams, I often got confused that -pink one is Vanilla whereas the white one is Strawberry. Oh It was so difficult to remember flavors..how they tasted.. I remember the days when my mother used to buy me a cups of different flavor from vendors at railway stations and I was so confused to take which one…it was really difficult….then one day I was told by someone that there are numerous flavors available at some other shop ..oh! what a shame..i didn’t knew that…and I now had a tougher problem to handle more flavors more names more confusion…how to solve this..we went to parlor my friend asked for Butter Scotch ..Guess what I did..bingo..followed the clever guy and said “the same one for me too”…and then it began a long journey..a good solution..whenever at ice parlor ask for Butter Scotch this way there’s no confusion which one is pink or white..no worries…time changed years passed..i got the job..tasted more flavors..loved eating different combinations..from ”Dark Temptation” to “Vanilla with Gulab jamun” to Nirula’s “Gulabo”..tasty ..yummy.. mean while I also developed exotic favorites like “Kesar Pista”, “Manhattan Mania” and others like “Almond Fudge” ….
